My experience with Amerisave Mortgage has been a PAIN IN THE ASS!!

 

Took them 11 months to close the loan because of them mistyping SSN, requesting the same documents over and over, and were not communicating with me.

 

After the loan was finalized they included payment coupons with the wrong account number, wrong address, and wrong phone number.

 

After making payments successfully with automated BillPay app for several months they changed the security and blocked and BillPay app payments.  When I called for support they said BillPay apps no longer work and have to mail a check or make payments from their website.

 

 

Why do we need the Electoral Collage ?

The Electoral College Act may have been needed in 1887. The Act aims to minimize congressional involvement in election disputes, instead placing the primary responsibility to resolve disputes upon the states but decribed as "very confused, almost unintelligible".

 

The central provisions of the law have not been seriously tested in a disputed election until 2021.

With a simple majority of the House and Senate could set new rules to get rid of the Electoral Collage.

The last time it was tested was in 200 with Bush v. Gore.

The Electoral College Act law was designed to resolve the significant question in the nineteenth century regarding the proper role of Congress in reviewing controversies about which electors a state had appointed. It has been described as reflecting a balance between giving Congress unfettered ability to reject a state's electoral votes vs. deferring to state determinations, which was a significant topic of discussion during the Reconstruction era in 1861.

 

It has been argued at length that the Electoral Count Act is unconstitutional, arguing that the counting scheme must be established by way of constitutional amendment.

 

The only reason to keep the Electoral College Act is because Republicans haven’t won the popular vote since 2000.

Monitoring Your Pandemic Health, From Your Home New at-home tests and health monitoring devices may give a new picture of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the keys to managing the COVID-19 epidemic is getting access to accurate data, from lots of people and lots of communities. That data helps define the boundaries of the pandemic, from who’s sick and who’s not, to the locations of hotspots, to trying to understand the hidden medical effects of the virus.       

In recent weeks, the FDA has given the go-ahead to several tests for COVID-19 that can be performed remotely, from your own home. Such tests could help greatly expand testing capacity, an essential part of plans for recovery—but only if the tests are sensitive and reliable. Researchers are also working to develop other ways of using tech to monitor the outbreak, from heart rate monitors in smartwatches to sampling community sewage plants for evidence of the virus.  

Eric Topol, the founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, joins Ira to talk about some of the technology that could be brought to bear to get a better picture of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vice President Pence for President!

I’m an independent and don’t like Trump because of his inability to say he was EVER wrong.

Republicans should be looking at to upcoming 2020 election and decide if Vice President Pence or Trump has a better chance in the upcoming 2020 election.

Was obvious the Republicans lost wherever Trump tried to help and his attacks in immigration has ensured his defeat in the 2020 election and it’s in the best interest of keeping their jobs if the Republicans take the easier out and the more electable Vice President Pence!

Casa Grande Noise Complaint was refused

Last night my new neighbor had a party and were making a lot of noise and at 10:30 asked them to keep it down but just got louder so at 11pm I called the police with a noise complaint.

 

The Casa Grande police arrived in 15min but nothing changed because I found out that loud talking and laughing isn’t covered in a noise complaint, can tell them to lower the music volume but loud talking and laughing cant’s be stopped.

 

The cops left and the party continued until 11:30.

So have made an enemy and learned that I can’t do anything about it.

 

Next time will call the police again but need to ask for a change so a noise complaint can include loud voices.  They should either invite the neighbors or keep it down after 10pm, as per ordinance.

 

The Noise Complaint was refused because they weren’t playing music but a large group of loudly laughing ass-hats can keep they neighborhood awake as long as they like.
