What type of TV antenna do you have?

Last month I cut cable TV and installed an HD Antenna and very happy with quality and the available channels.

Do you have a HD antenna?

 

With my HD antenna I get 45+ channels.  Broadcasters have one main channel for older antennas but have up to multiple HD sub-channels.  This is just $35 on Amazon. Would use existing cabling, just would replace your antenna and add a decoder box but no monthly fees.

I was amazed to see that the picture quality was as good as cable, many of the sub-channels play old shows like McHale’s Navy, Bewitched, Star Trek, Dr Who, and many others.   

 

Kaspersky

Kaspersky has been in the news lately claiming that hackers are to blame for recent problems.  Kaspersky is a Russian owned internet security company.

 

They say they found evidence of Hackers of the US financial system.

Do you believe they had nothing to do with the attacks or they are just bragging how they got away with it?

 

 

folder "C:\C-"

I have a folder on drive C: named “\C-" that I cannot delete because it had too many items. This folder appears to be over 70GB.

All of the folders were at one time opened by Microsoft Expression Web.

 

 

 

 

Arizona DOT expired vehicle registration

I’ve received 2 notices for expired vehicle registration in the last two years but have never received the original renewal notice.

 

Has anyone else received a past due vehicle renewal without receiving a notification?

 

Is a $16 late fee and believe the DMV is just misplacing the notices to get the late fee’s.  The corruption demonstrated lately makes me very skeptical.

PHP Web Applications

I've been busy with classes for the last year but it was worth it!
The Web Application class has changed the way I build websites.

I use CodeIgniter MVC framework for my sites.  It creates a modular structure that allows me to insert applications such as Content Management Systems, Visitor Pols, Mapping, Photo Galleries, Calendars, and much more.

This has increased my productivity because I only need to build something once and either enable or disable it. The websites publish themselves to the search engines automatically.
