I’ve got a complaint about GoDaddy’ s integrity!
A website and domain they were hosting apparently became infected with malware and was blocked.
GoDaddy said the domain was blacklisted and would cost $250 to recover the site, the owners refused and contracted me to build a new site.
I transferred the domain to my account and redirected the name servers to my server but was still getting the same error.
GoDaddy support claimed that even though the IP address changed, the domain name was still blacklisted and would still cost $250 to use the domain.
However, After transferring the domain away from GoDaddy the malware error was gone.
Is GoDaddy manufacturing malware errors for profit?
