Amazon Music

I’m a fan of Amazon music but they don’t make it easy.

Prime Music is one of the benefits to Amazon Prime membership, includes over 2 million songs.

Amazon Music Unlimited allows access to Tens of millions of songs for $7.99/month.

For the last 3 months have had Amazon Music Unlimited for 99¢, it expires on 2/25

Echo Plan: For about half the price of Amazon Music Unlimited, you can instead choose the "Echo plan," which offers all the benefits of Unlimited but can be streamed only to one device–and that device is your Amazon Echo (or Dot or Tap).

Natural Echo Maybe the most fun Music Unlimited / Echo Plan exclusive, however, are the numerous additional Echo commands that are unlocked. For example:

  • "Alexa, play happy pop music"
  • "Alexa, play the song with the lyrics 'when the levee breaks'"
  • "Alexa, play Adele's newest single

As they add features then the Echo Plan @ $4/month might be worth it but working on my own GeckoRadio Music App that will mix your music with news and science from podcasts.
